Application
To attend the workshop, we ask all interested individuals to fill out an application form in due time. Bear in mind the following dates:
- Opening applications: November 2026
- Deadline: January 24, 2027
- Notification of acceptance: February 1, 2027
We aim for an inclusive event where a set of diverse and highly motivated young researchers and other climate change stakeholders can come together. We accept 40 participants.
The participation fee of 500EUR includes:
- Accommodation from Sunday to Friday (5 nights)
- Breakfast at the accommodation
- Lunch and coffee breaks at the workshop location
- Social dinner on Wednesday
The workshop will exclusively be an onsite event.
We can waive the participant fee for a very limited number of participants. Would you like to request a waiver? If so, please email acscc.info@protonmail.com to explain why you need it and detail any other financial constraints you have. Please note that if you do not send us an email explaining your situation, we will be unable to take your request into account.
The fee is the same for people living in Amsterdam and the surrounding area who are not staying at the hostel, as it is for people from abroad who are. We made this decision to make the event accessible to people who may be based in countries with less funding and economic means. We believe that everyone benefits from this, as it enables the unique diversity of this workshop. However, if you are not staying at the hostel and are having difficulty paying the fee, please email us to see if we can find another solution.
Accommodation
We will provide you with shared rooms of 4-person at Generator Hostel in Oosterpark. We book 4-person dorms because accommodation in Amsterdam is expensive, and we want to keep the participation fee as low as possible so that ACSCC remains accessible to as many people as possible. We will split the rooms based on sex. If you prefer a different arrangement, please send us an email to acscc.info@protonmail.com. In case you prefer to have a single room, we ask you to arrange it yourself at Generator Hostel.
